MOTU M4 前方面板上有兩個 XLR/TRS 輸入，背面有 4 個 TRS 和 4 個 RCA 的立體聲輸出，面板上有兩個獨立的 48V 幻象電源開關，另外有兩個獨立的監聽按鈕，按下後即可零延遲的及時監聽訊號輸入狀況，在錄音的同時，也可以從彩色的 LCD 顯示器中監控所有的音量。按下面板上的 "3-4" 即可將監聽訊號轉至 Output 3-4，達到交叉監聽的目的，非常實用。
